Hi and Welcome to Meraki Pilates, my name is Kimberlee and this is my Pilates playground/home studio.   Located on the waterfront at Margate on the spectacular Redcliffe Peninsula.

Pilates is about the whole person – nurturing your heart, mind, and spirit, just as much as your physical self.

That's precisely why I keep class sizes small and intimate. This boutique setting allows me to offer the genuine attention, care, and guidance you truly deserve. I make sure every single person gets the individual support they need to refine their practice and achieve their fitness goals. This personal touch doesn't just deepen your understanding of the techniques, it also cultivates a wonderful sense of community among us.

This is your sanctuary – a chance to come back to yourself and your breath, away from all the noise and the world's chatter. My hope is that your everyday life feels a bit lighter, making it easier to facilitate the movement required to live the life you enjoy.

Meet the Equipment (Yes, It Looks Intimidating. It's Not.)

Meraki is a true all equipment studio, which is a fancy way of saying I've got quite a few pieces from Joseph Pilates toy box and I love putting them all to use. Every piece has its own personality, its own purpose, and honestly its own little fan club among my clients. Here's what you'll be working with.

The Reformer. The famous one. It looks like a bed crossed with a rowing machine, and the first time most people see it they ask "what on earth is that for?" The carriage glides back and forth on a spring system, so you get full body strength and control work that's tough on your muscles but kind to your joints. It's the piece most people have seen on Instagram, and it's just as good in real life.

The Cadillac. Also known as the Trapeze Table, also known as the one that gets the most "wait, we're doing WHAT on that" reactions. Bars, springs, and straps turn this into the ultimate stretch and strength combo. It's brilliant for getting into your spine and hips in ways a mat simply can't reach. People tend to either love it immediately or need a session or two to trust it. Either way, they come around.

The Chair. Small, sneaky, deceptively hard. Don't be fooled by the size, this thing will find muscles you forgot you had. It's fantastic for balance, core strength, and the kind of control that actually carries over into real life, like getting off the floor without using your hands as a teenager would.

The Ladder Barrel. The one that makes backs everywhere breathe a sigh of relief. Brilliant for spinal mobility and opening up tight hips and chests, especially if you spend your day at a desk or in a car (so, basically everyone on the Peninsula).

Every session is built around you, so we'll mix and match whichever of these your body needs that day. No two sessions are quite the same, which is half the fun.

(Photos of each piece going in here once I get some new snaps of the studio.)

Sandy, London

Thank you Kimberlee, for your incredible support during my chemotherapy in London. Your personalised Pilates sessions helped relieve the tightness in my chest muscles when I needed it the most. I appreciated the individual attention, which made it easier for me to progress at my own pace. You've truly helped me to get back on track during a challenging time.
